-Woodstock was held in White Lake, NY. -As shown in the poster below, the theme of woodstock was 3 days of peace and music; the official title of woodstock was "Woostock Music and Art Fair". -Sweetwater was supposed to be the opening act but Richie Havens played instead. -Jimi Hendrix was the last act. -Joe Cocker was the last to perform before the rainstorm came.

Woodstock was all about the hippie movement which involved drugs, rock music, mystic religions and sexual freedom. The festival of woodstock had a capacity of about 400,000 young people who were all opposing violence. It was filled with free fun loving spirit.
