There are three main advantages when it comes to biomass. These are them... -The fuel that we use is usually very cheap. -There is less demand on the fossil fuels. -Whenever we can, we are actually using waste materials.
Disadvantages

Some disadvantages of biomass is that collecting the fuel can be difficult. Also since they burn the biofuel, it makes greenhouse gases. Finally the last disadvantage is that some waste materials aren't available all year round.
