Featuring The Gardners Arms...

In my opinion the Gardeners Arms is second in the top two pubs to visit in Manchester Stockort.

Top place remains The Magnet in Stockport City Centre which has the attraction of possibly the best selection of beers in town. Every time I visit the Magnet is to meet up with life long friend but it comes with it;'s disadvantages - I have to drive. I don't have to but I chose to as I now only have one kidney and great volumes of fine ale would not suit me - but my friends like that as they get a lift home.

The Gardners has a great great advantage - it is on the metro link. The latest refurbishment is a credit top the landlord and the land lady  who themselves are a credit to the industry.

The Gardeners is the Cheers of Manchester - the clientel are friendly and will openly convers with you if that is what you want.

In 2003 I moved to Baguley from Gatley leaving a family home which I loved. The Gardeners was a pub that I have known since the 1970's when we used it as our woks local - it has always had the reputation of being a good friendly pub. The latest refurbishment sets it on a new level - it is must visit if you live on the metro-link.
One thing of interest about this venue is that it does entertainment - I have seen great acts there which has inspired me to start a promotions business.

Onboard Promotions is my latest business venture - Inspired by The Gardeners Arms who have the foresite to produce a Facebook Site.

It is a suggestion to the Management team that they develop their own Protopage Site with a What's On section featuring their entertainment and possibly guest ales if they are to emulate The Magnet and oust them from being top dog.

Speaking about the refurbishment, licensee John Kelly said: “Trade has been great since the renovation. The Gardeners Arms has now been brought up to date and transformed into a unique local that caters for all ages. The new look has proven to be popular with the whole community, as we’re attracting a diverse range of new customers whilst retaining our loyal regulars. We wanted to give our customers a pub to really be proud of, and we have definitely achieved that.”

Tony Massey, Business Development Manager for Robinsons Brewery, said: “The Gardeners Arms is a community hub for all, and we wanted to give this iconic pub in the heart of Wythenshawe a new lease of life, to offer customers a better experience overall. The drinks range has been improved and seating and furniture throughout upgraded. There’s lots of great entertainment at the Gardeners, which can now be enjoyed in a more pleasant and comfortable environment.”

SSNA for Wythenshawe

28 March 2019

It was agreed  with Nick from the Church Of England that the creation of the new website for Wytenshawe should be created by Foundation Computing.

That a Locuhl Reporter should be placed on the website ant that Nick - from time to time will supply articles for Locuhl.
Nick has indicated that he will talk to his developer to amend their website to include a SSNA Link to Protopage.

This development will launch SSNA which was developed in 2007 for YMG as part of their Multi-Media Marketing Project.

19th Hole

If you plan to play golf at the golf clubs only half a mile from the Gardeners Arms you will find that the catering finishes early and certainly during wither months there is no bar facility for late players.

The Gardeners Arms is the perfect 19th Hole for Golfers Wanting a sandwich and a pint of fine ale. The journey time is less than 5 minutes and it is on the same road as Withington and Northenden Golf Club.

28th March 2020 - Systems Analyst Job / 12 Feb 2021 - Magna Carta

12/02/2021 Magna Carta.

This entry in Locuhl was my response to an employment agency requesting the services of an Agile Scrum Master. The Salary was £50,000 per year. - I attempted to do the job on a voluntary basis until the position was established and that they had recruited the right person.

With regards to the release of Locuhl for the Church Of England it is something that I am still to follow up. I dis contact a local community church whicgh were forward thinking in their use of IT and they did not tke up the offer of a local newspaper so I have been put off the church somewhat.

I will now use Locuhl as my own Redoctopus News Print with Q-TV now that the Green pages Build has commenced.

Richard Gilbert will commence the creation of registration services for Green Pages soon. This is called Q-Core and will decide what aspects of the system people will have access to.

Registration services include :
 Magna Carta -
Anybody at the Golf club that owns a business of is self employed with an establishment database.

The Manchester Discount Card -
Registration of Magna Carta members that want to participate in Onboard Promotions activities.

Pegasus -
Member Registration of Golf club members that want to Participate in Manchester Discount Card Activities.

Cylopse -
General Membership registration.

The development will be undertaken by Richard who will decide what the content of the SQL Server database is.   To give Richard a Start I have included google forms transactions on the Green Pages Website so that you can begin to register NOW.  We will develop a JSO interface to transfer your data to Nimrod the name of our SQL Server Suite.

I hope to get my daughter Emma involved in the creation of Powtoon Marketing for YouTUBE fo Green Pages Membership. It is Early days and have indicated the cost of this development will be £50.

Registration for businesses to the Manchester Business Card will be free - Onboard Promotions Multimedia Marketing will then be offered at a discounted rate depending on Emma's Involvement.

Until Emma is onboard with Onboard promotions i will be doing the Powtoon Load.

Membership to the Manchester Discount scheme is currently free - I have not yet tried to attract too many businesses. Tis will change when we have developed a mobile phone app for the membership card - cost will then be £7 per year. Paul Edwards has been contracted to look into the Mobile Phone application.

Hello Lauren

Please get me an interview - If you do not get me this interview please strike me off your system.  There is no better fit you can get.

Can you please inform your Clint that I am a 100 percent fit for this job and that in addition to being a Principle ITC Consultant of over 40 years standing I am an ICT Teacher with my own ICT company called Red Octopus Business Service.

Plase inform him to look at http://protopage.com/digitalchampions  to look at my learning platform and ask him to look at Agile for Scrum and Kaban Training.

I have today at the google garage been networking and have generated new business for my company.  My company runs a community Guardian Scheme.

This is the offer - I will work for your company for 1 year as a community guardian if you become a Red Octopus Client.

The sum of the transaction will be just £50 and for that the company will get Internet Multimedia marketing.

I will create a active website for the purpose of Agile Project Management where individuals will have access to their own secure zone.

If after 3 month the company wants to continued yo employment we can discuss a personal development plan.

As my first objective for the company I will initiate a project called Minerva,  which is the identification of Training Needs for the company followed by projects Genesis and Socrates which are personal and corporate documentation.

I would like the company to review a project called Cyclops which is a hash tag database for the recording an reporting of project task objects.

I would like the company to consider the use of Open Workbench for project definition resource allocation and tracking.

Please note : I am currently working as a community guardian as a digital marketing analyst and that in the last 10 minutes I have just got off the phone from the church of England. My task now will be to launch an active website and a local newspapers called Locuhl for the reporting of church news. This development will be done for free under the Community Guardian scheme.

My mission in life is to help and support small businesses in Manchester. In 2007 I ran my last company BBCommunSYS Ltd ad was able to recruit 3 development houses to support Young Masters Golf. The project was significant it Involved one project team developing in PHP/Mysql a second team in ASP.Net and Sql Server and a third team implementing package product drive by Excel interfaces.  This was an agile project driven remotely by Email with nighty scrums using skype.

This offer is only available now because I have not yet written up last nights Community Guardian Contract with Robinsons Brewery - I have contracted myself to visiting the pubs in Manchester and Stockport and writing a mystery shopper report on them.

Again I am contracted to The Gardeners to support their social section and to promote their business as the 19th Hole for the mersey Golf clubs.

To save creation of a new website for the Garderers I will place this article on an exiting website.

A copy of this transcript has been place in The Birdie on the Withington Golf Club Site.

This is a Minute to Pat.
Pat next Thursday we will discuss project Onboard - As a representative of the golf club secretaries association I would like to discuss creating a feasibility study to IT services for golf that are required by the membership / Secretary / Pro.  This might be Event Management / Booking for club social events or an Intranet for centenary handbooks. The production of an Electronic Newsprint or a Training System for IIP. It is a open discussion which I will minute / documented and create a Board Report fo my recommendations.

On the basis that WGC have rejected Active web services I will place The Birdie of The 19th Hole - The Gardeners new website.

We will also discuss club revenue streams fro the development of Internet marketing and the creation of a new website called green pages.

Executive decision : This report will be place within Locuhl Reporter on http://greenpages.co.uk (effective launching this product to my golfing social network.
