Keyboarding Classroom Rules
ClickKeyboarding Classroom Rules Classroom Management: • All policies in the DIS Student Handbook will be followed. • Students will sit in assigned seats and be held responsible for equipment at their workstation. • Be in your seat and ready to work. • No food, drink or gum will be allowed in computer lab. • Do not tamper with computer settings or screens. • Do not use another student’s log-in and or files. Internet Rules: • Students will not use the Internet without permission from the teacher. • Students are not allowed to download from internet. • Students will not enter chat rooms. • Students will not enter morally questionable areas. • Students will not print from Internet except by teacher permission. Consequences: • First Offense: Any student breaking the above Internet rules will be immediately suspended from Internet/Computer opportunities. Parent contact will be made. • Second Offense: Student will be referred to the office for disciplinary action.
Keyboarding Reminders
Come in quietly and sit in assigned seats. Touch your computer only. Use two hands to type. Leave Keyboarding Class clean and organized. Do not look at keyboard while typing.
