Bach WHO

Bach was a famous composer of the 1700s. He wrote thousands of pieces. He was and still is one of the best composers of all time. At age ten Bach became an orphan. That didn’t stop him from learning and writing songs. He had many jobs that involved playing an organ. He knew how to play the organ, piano and violin. At just age 14 he was offered a scholarship to a music college.

Early Years

Bach was born on March 21st 1685 in a town called Eisenach Thuringia. Bach died July 28th 1750. Bach died at age 65. This was a good age to live until in the 1700s. Bach’s life was tragic, exiting, and thrilling. He had many good experiences. He has inspired and lifted many people’s spirits. I have played some of his pieces and although they are challenging, they have a good message.

Boyhood

As a boy Bach went to a German/ Latin school. He learned different four different languages and one of them was English and the other was Latin. Bach went to a college for musicians. Then when he grew up he became a college professor. Bach was very passionate about his work. He spent most of his 20’s composing weekly cantatas. Bach was so passionate that he could compose music, give his kids lessons on music and have a job.

Bach's Family

Bach had a huge family. Bach had 13 kids with his first wife she then died July 7th 1720. With his second with he had 7 kids. All together he had 20 kids. All of his kids were musically inclined just like him. Although none were as famous then him they still were famous.

Bach, a living legend and a world wide composer. He has put joy and sorrow into peoples lives. His name will be famous forever and his music will continue to enspire people, including me.
