On the 12 April 2016 i sadly lost my son Adam.

The Golf Channel was our on-going project with a view to running an annual charity golf event to benefit International Junior Golf.

On 23rd September 2016 there will be a charity golf day organised by American Golf Stockport - In memory of Adam.

For more information about entry please contact American Golf.

This site is Frozen as a reflection of where we were before we lost such a great man.

About the Golf Channel

It must be twenty years since I created my first Golf Channel Web site. It was a study of the golf clubs in cheshire taken from a publication I once owned. The study referenced sites which had golf open competitions and club locators. This first effort was not exposed to the www but was for personal use.

I replicated the site on the www when the social bookmaking site called Delicious arrived. I referenced the site for many years and enjoyed reading about other clubs in the North West. however, when Delicious was taken over by Yahoo the multiple sites which I managed had to go leaving me with just one primary site which was not the golf channel.

Today I have decided that once more I will show an interest in golf - it looks like I will be playing once more as a municipal man. It is for this community of new golfers that I will dedicate my knowledge now.

I will invite my good friend Dave Gosling, owner of Bitesize Golf and Golf Fellow to contribute articlles about the game.

David has passion for golf - his first venture YMG - Young Masters Golf was a leader in it's field until corporate changes meant that David would have to start again. I am pleased to say that his new venture is doing great things for Junior Golf.

I will also introduce you to Golf Shake and make connections with the team there as we once had a vision of a joint venture, perhaps now is time again to focus on that vision.

Yes ....... I know you are capable of creating your own Youtube channels, why make the effort when I am here to serve you.

Starting Over.

I am a 30 golf veteran who has served his time but I have not played for many many years.

My best score is 68 which I achieved on more than a few occasions and I have hole in one under my belt,

I have been a member of two golf clubs served on two committees and been a team captain.

It is time to return to golf.

I will commence my reintroduction with a study of the game - each week over the spring / summer I will create a TV Channel for me to watch. I will share this with you here.

I will eventually conduct a study of my findings and I will classify the videos by method.

Since the creation of this site we have slept and had a get together.

There has been a change in direction and the Get Into Gear initiative have been launched.

Get Into Gear will be a consultancy service directed at PGA Golf Professionals, Club Directors and Club Secretaries to get them web savvy in Hybrid Web Solutions, Web Marketing and SEO. This is crating a web presence which is totally free yet significantly more powerful than the web services which they might be using.

This project is about work / life balance. In my work I need to know about UML as an IT Consultant.

It is an area which I have not been involved in. It has occurred to me that Managers / Potential Managers should have a viewpoint on UML, or a basic understanding of some of it's elements.

I believe that Junior Golfers are potential managers, that they are in an environment where they will meet many business men and managers and will be on equal terms with them.

What better than an environment like golf to introduce them to life skills which they will need in business.

This is the Vision of my Golf Channel, different / extreme but valuable.

In presenting UML I will expose one of the free web based business tools which is available to golf directors.

There will be lots to go at and it really is not golf - but it is for the benefit of junior golfers.

Our Charity

Our charity will benefit International Junior Golf.

We hope to be organising a Charity Golf Event - I will decide when we get the costing and a club willing to run the event for us.

In recognition of his support for this venture we will name the day the All In One Computing Charity Golf day and we shall, hopefully target the Golfshake and Bitesize Golf communities.

The competition will be open to all - Gents, Ladies and Juniors.

Golfshake is just about the UK's biggest venture in none club golf. Some 10 year ago when they were just starting I was in negotiation with them to form a joint venture in the pursuit of developing junior golfers.
