What Three Words Cemetery

What Three Words is your virtual cemetery.

The implementation of What3Words has opened up the opportunity for us to remember our loved ones in a whole new way.

We can now select a place where we can go and stand to reflect the good time that we ha together and we can once again share thoughts.

If allows places like golf clubs to set up areas where trees and scrubs can be planted or possibly rose gardens.  As far as laying down ashes are concerned I do not know the law - dose a person have the right to cast ashes over waters like Hollingworth Lake where my father wanted to be laid to rest.

Perhaps we will see the development of Protopage Sites for local attractions like Sale Water Park where people can pay a small amount of pennies to leave an Epitaph or Eulogy / Obituary.

There are sites in America that charge as much as $90 for a virtual gravestone.

It is my intention to extend my Golf Hub Domain  to contain WhatThreeWords Functionality as well as WhatThreetunes where you can leave a Musical Legacy.

For my example see http://protopage.comwithingtongolfclub for may son;'s Adam obituary

Development plan

We will monitor the database - when we have say 20 subscribers we will develop the SQL Server Application that displays your content.

It takes minutes develop google forms - SQL server applications takes hours and there is the cost of hosting to consider - we are not going to invest if there is no take up.

Ashes to ashes

In theses troubled times where people are having to make decisions where they will lay their loved ones to rest isn't it the right time for Golf Clubs to offer up a memorial service.

The introduction of What3words has given us memorial spots where we can reflect on life as it was before loss.

There are plenty of opportunities at golf clubs to plant trees, shrubberies and rose gardens, Shouldn't we step up to the mark now.

All that we would have to do is offer up a protopage Obituary service where members protopages could be linked to a central server.

This is what we are attempting to do at The Golf Hub.

What to do

Find the location where you have put your pet to rest using What3words.
Then complete your registration form.

We will monitor registrations and when they reach 20 we will develop a SQL Server Application to display table contents.

Rich text note

Whilst I have no intention of dying soon my request will be fo a simple cremation my the Co-Operative Funeral Services where I used to work at the Co-Operative College.

My internet Passwords will be passed to Emma with a request to Emma to maintainthem.

I would like to think that Flip Recipe will go on for a business for Emma called On Board Promotions and that she will get into promoting Manchester Bands on our Manchester Music Site.

The Just for Kids site can remain static - it will be there to remember my nightly entertainment.
