The function of SR software is divided into 3 wide areas: -Dictation: the user says what they want to appear on the document. It is easy for errors to occur as the user has to pronounce their words cleary. -Correction and editing: changing the misinterpretated word with the intended one. -Command and control: includes using menus, changing settings in dialog boxes and similar tasks.
