So far in Tears of the Tiger they had the accident and they were all dissapointed.Andy was having the hardest time dealing with it though. He was terrably dealing with his death and his parents got him a psychiatrist for his problems. There is were he admitted all of his problems like attempting to kill himself and things he never told people before. During Chistmas break he felt very bad because he was conced with the feelings of Robs parents. A little while after they went back to school and they were concerened with poems and how they were in a way racist. And the rest is too BE read.
-This is going to be hard but I have to do this for Rob.

Andy is a normal, well was a normal teenage boy until November 8th .When his best friend Robert Washington was killed in a car accident. Where Andy was in control of the wheel. That accident changed his life. He saw the whole world differently. He felt different in many ways. Before it happened he was normal seven-teen year old boy. He had the girls and the friends. Besides his family you could say Andy Jackson was living the life. Now he sees the accident over and over in his head and he just can’t focus. His parents got him a shrink to help him with his problems. It’s helping a lot. Through the time of him having a shrink he has admitted to a lot like attempting to kill himself and a lot of other things. Recently Andy had a dream that his dead friend Rob was telling him to kill himself.
Robs tragedy was the experience when he was in the accident he was stuck in the car. NOt knowing whether or not he was going to die. Not being able to do anything about it but sit there and burn.
His feet were also stuck in the winshield so that hurt alone.

I believe that rap should not be banned because it helps people grow and learn. It is a very good way to release some of your stress. People let out their creativity when they are rapping because it is a very creative way to speak a word or making someone aware of something. All rap is not bad rap.!

Hurricane Katrina was a devistating event. This tragedy happened on August 28, 2005. It changed many peoples lives. They were without clothes food and most of all homes. They were hurt in so many ways .Family members were lost and many people were without a trace of what to do. They were clueless.Hurricane Katrina was a vert devistating event.

Tragedy is in society by earth quakes,deaths,hurricanes,and millions of other things.It changes the world because you have to deal with the aftermath. It kills very many people that could possibly be your family members. It also having to live another day not knowing whether or not your going to have somewhere to sleep or somehting to eat.People deal with death and that affects society because family memebers have to go on another day without him/her not laughing/talking/huging/or kissing them ever again.

Dr. Sharon M. Draper is a professional educator as well as an accomplished writer. She has been honored as the National Teacher of the Year, is a five-time winner of the Coretta Scot King Literary Award, and is a New York Times bestselling author. She was selected as Ohio's Outstanding High School Language Arts Educator, Ohio Teacher of the Year, and was chosen as a NCNW Excellence in Teaching Award winner. She is a Milken Family Foundation National Educator Award winner, and was the Duncanson Artist-in-Residence for the Taft Museum. She is a YWCA Career Woman of Achievement, and is the recipient of the Dean's Award from Howard University School of Education, the Pepperdine University Distinguished Alumnus Award, the Marva Collins Education Excellence Award, and the Governor's Educational Leadership Award. Last year she was named Ohio Pioneer in Education by the Ohio State Department of Education, and in 2008 she received the Beacon of Light Humanitarian award. In 2009 she received the Doctor of Laws Degree from Pepperdine University.
She has been honored at the White House six times, and was chosen as one of only four authors in the country to speak at the National Book Festival Gala in Washington, D.C, and to represent the United States in Moscow at their Book Festival. Her book Copper Sun has been selected by the US State Department and the International Reading Association as the United States novel for the international reading project called Reading Across Continents. Students in the US, Nigeria, and Ghana are reading the book and sharing ideas-a true intercontinental, cross-cultural experience.
