Read ALL of the directions below BEFORE starting the first one 1) Finish typing in the results of your research on your resource. 2) Talk with the other students that are also doing that resource and be sure you all agree on the results. 3) Print your resource sheet. If you don't know how (or have a problem), see me. 4) Open your science notebook to the Moon Phases section that we set up on class. 5) Put on your headphones, and click on the Moon Phases link to the right. Watch the video and write down the moon phases the teacher lists along with a picture to describe each one. You should have 8 when you are done. 6) Raise your hand and let me know when you are done.

Part 1 - Array Model
1) Make sure you have working headphones, a pencil, and your math spiral notebook 2) Click on "Quick Code" buttion to the right and type (or copy & paste) the following code into the box: LZ28 3) Use your mouse to scroll the video around well enough so that you can see it and press play. Watch the entire 5 minte video. 4) After the video is done, look up near the top of the video player and click the white box which says "Guided Practice". 5) Scroll back down, click play, and then watch this video. Be sure you are pausing and DOING THE MATH ON YOUR SPIRAL NOTEBOOK whenever the teacher says to do so. 6) Once you have completed both videos and done the guided practice, create your OWN multiplication problem for one of your classmates to try using the array model. A) Make sure the problem is a 1-digit times a 2-digit (ex: 8 x 34) B) Write down your problem and solve it using the array model. 7) Raise your hand and let me know when you are finished.
Part 2 - Partial Products
