Reminders

Homework is due in each Friday. Library books are due to be returned each Tuesday ready for borrowing on Wednesday. Hats are required each day in order to participate in outdoor activities, including lunch breaks.

Year 6 Homework Choices

 

Each week you are to complete the spelling and maths activity below.  You need to read for at least 10 minutes each night and have a parent / carer sign your reading record.  You are then to select one activity from the table below.  Each activity can only be completed once.  When you complete an activity, shade that box and write in the week you did the activity.

 

 

 

SPELLING  - each week you will need to write your spelling words out 3 times.

 

MATHS – Practice your times tables – write them out, sing them, have someone test you.

Write a recount of the first five years of your life.

Read a junior fiction book and write about it.  Make sure you include the title, characters, setting and the plot.

Watch a DVD and write about it.  You will need to write about the setting, characters, music and the storyline

Create a wordsearch using this weeks spelling words.

Create an information page (A4 size) about oil spills in the ocean.

On an A4 page tell me about your pet (if you don’t have one tell me about one you would like to have).  Include it’s name, the type of pet it is, how you care for it, and a photo.

Create a scrapbooking page on one of your relatives.

Read a junior fiction book and then write an innovation of the story.

Design an advertisement for your favourite food.

Read a newspaper article.  Glue it into your book and write your opinion about the article.

Year 7 Homework Choices

Students in 6/7D utilise a coded system to record behaviours. They record the codes on the board and complete the associated consequence for that particular step. The steps are:- reflection, rules & apology, buddy room, planning room, and the office.
