PERFORMANCES               25% OF FINAL GRADE

All choral students are expected at all required performances. 

Excused absences are: family emergencies, sickness, special trips planned weeks in advance. 

Unexcused absences are: work, "couldn't get a ride," birthday parties, etc. 

All students are expected to wear the appropriate uniform and display appropriate behavior at all performances.  Students not wearing the appropriate uniform or having disorderly behavior at concerts will result in their performance grade being lowered.

PARTICIPATION              25% OF FINAL GRADE

Because music is a TEAM activity, students are expected to participate to the best of their ability. 

SKILLS TESTING                50% OF FINAL GRADE

Students will be evaluated on their musical skills taught in class. 

UNIFORM

All students are expected to wear the required uniform listed below for required performances (except for the “Pops Concert” which will be announced in class):

Aspen Ridge MS - Khaki Pants and "Aspen Ridge Music" Polo

(The Music Boosters are asking that parents pay $10 for the shirt. Please contact Mr. Beacco for more information)

Westwood HS - Girls - Black Palazzo Pants, Black Blouse, White Pearls   Boys – Tuxes

Rental fee $25 for the school year.  $10 refund when uniform returned in good condtion at end of year.  Uniforms to be handed out in October.
